According to a company press release, J. M. Smucker generated second-quarter net sales of $2.22 billion, up 5% year on year.

This topped Wall Street consensus estimates of $2.13 billion, supported by net price increases and a 1% rise in sales volumes across key brands such as Uncrustables and Café Bustelo. Adjusted earnings reached $3.24 per share, easily surpassing analyst expectations of $2.22 per share, aided by $115 million in tariff refunds. Free cash flow also rebounded to $337.3 million from negative $94.9 million in the prior-year period. Following the strong results, the company raised its full-year outlook. J. M. Smucker now expects annual net sales to decrease by 1% to 2%, improving from its prior forecast of a 3% to 4% decline. In addition, the company boosted its full-year adjusted earnings guidance to between $10.50 and $11.00 per share, compared with its previous range of $9.75 to $10.25 per share.

The shares closed the day at $130.81, up 4.3% from the previous close.
