The first milestone is William Morice II, MD, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mayo Clinic Laboratories, has joined the Virchow Medical Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). In addition, Khosrow Shotorbani, Chief Executive Officer of Project Santa Fe Foundation and Founder of Clinical Lab 2.0, has transitioned from the Company’s Market Outreach Advisory Board to the Scientific Advisory Board, joining Dr. Morice and other SAB members.

Virchow Medical, Inc., manufacturer of the Crow’s Nest® Biopsy Catchment System and operator of the Virchow VaultTM Liquid Specimen Biorepository, today announced it has completed a $4 million seed financing led by Cerberus Ventures. Chenny Zhang of Cerberus Ventures will join the Virchow Board of Directors.

The Project Santa Fe Foundation (PSFF) and Virchow Medical have formed a partnership to meet the unmet needs of oncology patients by transforming laboratory insights into proactive clinical analytics.
