‘BLUE LOCK - TOKYO EGOIST -’ kicks off on Saturday, November 22
In its efforts to promote nighttime tourism, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is developing new attractions that illuminate the capital after dark. As part of this initiative, projection mapping is being presented year-round on the iconic Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1, transforming its façade into a canvas of light and sound.
Projection Mapping Showcase of "YOASOBI / 'Idol’” Premiered Saturday, December 14!
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been hosting year-round projection mapping displays at the iconic Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (No. 1 Building). These displays use light and sound to create vibrant and diverse works of art, transforming the landmark into a new tourism resource that illuminates Tokyo’s nightscape. The event began in February of 2024 and has been visited by approximately 450,000 people to date.

This show is presented nightly throughout the year, providing a new sightseeing resource that lights up the Tokyo night.
