Quintessent Raises $40 Million Series A and Begins Sampling First Product for AI Optical Interconnects
Quintessent, an innovator in resilient and low-cost AI datacenter optical interconnect products, today announced it has raised $40 million in an oversubscribed Series A investment round. Quintessent also announced the start of customer sampling of its single-chip quantum dot-based DWDM comb laser – a new class of light source designed to simplify optical connectivity for rapidly scaling AI clusters.
Quintessent raises $11.5M in seed funding to future-proof optical connectivity
Quintessent, a pioneer in heterogeneous silicon photonics and quantum dot laser technology, has closed on just over $11.5 million in an oversubscribed Seed funding round. Osage University Partners (OUP) led the round along with new investors including M Ventures, and joining existing investors Sierra Ventures, Foothill Ventures, and Entrada Ventures.
