This new initiative seeks to modernize the District’s electric grid to accommodate the growing demands of a clean energy future while enabling the integration of distributed energy resources (DERs), such as solar power, energy storage, and electric vehicles.
DCPSC Approves Modified Multiyear Rate Plan for Pepco on Extended Pilot Basis

Commissioner Richard Beverly cast the dissenting vote. This decision establishes electric distribution rates for calendar years 2025 and 2026 while ensuring transparency, accountability, and consumer protection.
