The framework provides multistakeholder guidance to foundation and frontier model providers, giving them the tools and knowledge needed to foster responsible development and deployment of AI models with a focus on safety for society and adaptability to support evolving capabilities and use cases. The public comment period is open now through January 15, 2024, with an updated version expected in Spring 2024.
