PartnerRe Ltd. (“the Company”) today announced its intention to voluntarily delist its 4.875% Series J Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Preferred Shares (the “Preferred Shares”) from the New York Stock Exchange (the “NYSE”), and to deregister the Preferred Shares under the U.S. Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the “Exchange Act”). The Company has notified the NYSE of its intention to voluntarily delist the Preferred Shares.

(“the Company”) announced that its Board of Directors has declared a dividend for the period March 15, 2024 – June 14, 2024 of $0.3046875 per share on the Company’s 4.875% Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares, Series J. PartnerRe Ltd. (“the Company”) announced that its Board of Directors has declared a dividend for the period December 15, 2023 – March 14, 2024 of $0.3046875 per share on the Company’s 4.875% Fixed Rate Non-Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares, Series J. The dividend is payable on March 15, 2024 to shareholders of record on February 29, 2024.

PartnerRe Ltd. (“the Company”) today announced that effective April 1, 2024, Jacques Bonneau will retire from the Company and Philippe Meyenhofer will succeed him as Chief Executive Officer and take his place on the Board of Directors. As part of the transition, Jon Colello, CEO, P&C Americas, assumes the added role of President of PartnerRe Ltd., with executive responsibility for all Non-Life Underwriting, reporting to Philippe. During the interim period, Jacques will delegate most of his duties to Philippe and Jon to ensure a smooth transition.

PartnerRe Ltd. ("the Company") today reported net loss attributable to common shareholder of $387 million for the third quarter of 2022, compared to income of $70 million for the same period of 2021. Net loss attributable to common shareholder was $1,533 million for the first nine months of 2022, compared to income of $317 million for the same period of 2021. Operating loss was $62 million for the third quarter of 2022, compared to operating income of $54 million for the same period of 2021 and was the result of a decrease in underwriting profits for the non-life segments due to large catastrophic losses, offset by an increase in the Life and Health allocated underwriting result. Operating income for the first nine months of 2022 was $439 million compared to operating income of $246 million for the same period of 2021 as a result of improvements in the underwriting results for the P&C and Life and Health segments.

PartnerRe Ltd. ("the Company") today reported net loss attributable to common shareholder of $606 million for the second quarter of 2022, compared to income of $314 million for the same period of 2021. Net loss attributable to common shareholder was $1,146 million for the half year 2022, compared to income of $248 million for the same period of 2021. Operating income was $328 million for the second quarter of 2022, compared to operating income of $151 million for the same period of 2021. Operating income for the half year 2022 was $502 million compared to operating income of $192 million for the same period of 2021. Operating income for the second quarter and the half year 2022 improved over the same periods of 2021 as a result of improvements in the underwriting results for all three segments.

PartnerRe Ltd. today announced that, in connection with the close of the transaction announced on July 12, 2022, Thierry Derez, Chief Executive Officer of Covéa Group, will replace Brian Dowd as Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Dowd will remain on the Board as an independent director, along with existing independent directors Mary Ann Brown and Hermann Pohlchristoph. PartnerRe President and CEO, Jacques Bonneau will also remain on the Board.
