DETROIT - Aug. 3, 2026 - PRLog -- All About Technology, a Detroit-based certified disability-owned minority business enterprise, today announced the launch of Tech Tuesdays, a recurring community conversation series designed to make technology easier to understand and use.
Hosted at All About Technology, 6450 Michigan Avenue in Detroit, Tech Tuesdays will invite residents, seniors, students, entrepreneurs and small-business owners to ask questions, discuss technology concerns and receive practical guidance in a welcoming environment.
Topics will include selecting the right computer, protecting personal information, recognizing online scams, understanding artificial intelligence, maintaining devices, improving small-business productivity and identifying accessible technology solutions for seniors and people with disabilities.
"Too many people are made to feel as though they are behind simply because technology was never explained to them in a patient and understandable way," said Willie E. Brake, MBA, founder of All About Technology. "Tech Tuesdays will give people a place where they can ask questions without feeling embarrassed, receive honest guidance and become more confident using the technology that affects their everyday lives."
Brake founded All About Technology in 2001 with a mission to bridge the digital divide by making technology affordable, accessible and understandable. During its more than 25 years of service, the company has provided computer sales, repairs, upgrades, technical support, technology education and recycling services to individuals, families and businesses throughout the Detroit community.
Each Tech Tuesday will feature a designated topic, an open question-and-answer period and practical recommendations participants can immediately apply. Future sessions may also include demonstrations, guest experts, community partners and information about affordable devices and technical-support resources.
The first Tech Tuesday will take place:
Date: AUGUST 4, 2026
Time: 1:00pm
Location: All About Technology, 6450 Michigan Avenue, Detroit, Michigan 48210
Admission: FREE

Organizations, manufacturers, educators and technology professionals interested in supporting or participating in future Tech Tuesdays are encouraged to contact All About Technology.
"Technology should open doors—not leave people standing outside of them," Brake added. "Our goal is to create an ongoing conversation that helps Detroit residents use technology to work, learn, communicate, build businesses and participate more fully in today's digital world."
