Pawprint Oxygen has launched DonatePetOxygenMasks.org, a dedicated online resource that allows individuals to sponsor complete pet oxygen mask sets for local emergency departments across North America. The new website supports the PureVent Pet Oxygen Project, an initiative working to equip EMS, fire, police, and search-and-rescue teams with specialized equipment designed to treat animals during respiratory emergencies.
Through the new site, community members can sponsor a full set of pet oxygen masks that is shipped directly to a selected emergency department. The website organizes sponsorships so that donations reach fire departments, police and K9 units, and search-and-rescue teams. Departments receive the equipment ready for immediate use, along with the instructional materials needed to train personnel on proper application during an emergency.
"The goal is preparedness," Dube said. "A pet oxygen mask is a small piece of equipment, but it can make the difference between a positive outcome and a loss for a family. Making these sets easy to sponsor and easy to deliver was the priority behind this launch."
