Kansas City, Missouri – DM Injury Law wrapped up an action-packed September by deepening its commitment to community involvement across Missouri. From classrooms to golf courses, and from food drives to galas, the firm proudly partnered with organizations that uplift, educate, and empower residents statewide.
Throughout the month, the firm’s attorneys and staff took part in numerous initiatives designed to bring people together and make a lasting impact.
Kicking off the month, DM Injury Law joined the Johnson County Bar Association Foundation Golf Tournament, one of the legal community’s most anticipated fundraisers. The event brought together judges, attorneys, and local business leaders for a day of camaraderie at St. Andrews Golf Club while raising money for area charities.
Partnering with Harvesters and the Do Good Foundation, the firm supported monthly food distributions in Kansas City’s East Side, helping serve more than 150 families and distribute over 20,000 pounds of food to combat hunger in the community.
Education remained a central focus, as DM Injury Law participated in the 5th Annual Literacy KC Mini Golf Classic, a spirited event supporting adult learners pursuing education to improve their futures. With community support, Literacy KC celebrated over 60 high school graduates and a 65% student advancement rate this year.
Environmental advocacy was also on display when the firm joined Bridging the Gap for a local tree-planting initiative that promotes cleaner air, healthier neighborhoods, and a more sustainable environment for future generations.
The firm continued its support of local schools at the Ames Visual & Performing Arts Elementary Grandparents Breakfast, sponsoring a warm meal for more than 150 grandparents and caregivers. The event highlighted the importance of reading aloud to children and encouraging literacy from an early age.
Across the region, DM Injury Law also participated in major community celebrations, including the KCUA Pickleball Tournament, KC G.I.F.T.’s Vision of Equity Gala, and the Guadalupe Centers Blanco Y Negro: Legacy & Legends Gala, honoring changemakers and advancing diversity and inclusion across Kansas City.
The team volunteered at Books for STL Kids’ 2025 Largest Book Party at Busch Stadium, distributing books to more than 300 children and families alongside the St. Louis Cardinals mascot, Redbird. The firm also joined 20/20 Leadership for its rebranding reveal as Youth Lead KC, celebrating a new chapter in youth empowerment and leadership development.
To top off the month, DM Injury Law continued its Football Game of the Week tradition, spotlighting Kansas City high school athletes and fostering community spirit under the Friday night lights.
