New ThinkAgile Infrastructure, Expanded Lenovo Express Solutions and Deployment Services Give Customers Greater Choice, Resilience and Control

Lenovo today announced new infrastructure solutions and services designed to help enterprises modernize the technology foundation behind their virtualized environments and prepare for AI. The expanded portfolio includes the Lenovo ThinkAgile VX850 V4, purpose-built for highly-virtualized and demanding in-memory workloads; Lenovo Premier Deploy for Infrastructure, with three pre-defined service levels to help customers move from deployment to production-ready operations; and expanded Lenovo Express Solutions, providing validated, simplified modernization paths across leading virtualization and hybrid cloud platforms.

“Organizations are focused on modernizing virtualized infrastructure to improve efficiency and resilience while maintaining flexibility in an increasingly complex IT landscape,” said Scott Patti, Vice President, Infrastructure Solutions Group, Lenovo. “Lenovo is helping customers modernize the infrastructure they rely on today with greater choice and control, while building an AI-ready foundation that can evolve as their requirements change.”

Purpose-Built Infrastructure for Virtualization

The Lenovo ThinkAgile VX850 V4 expands Lenovo’s virtualization portfolio with infrastructure built for highly virtualized enterprise environments and demanding workloads. Designed to support both structured and unstructured data, the VX850 V4 gives organizations a foundation for consolidating and modernizing critical workloads. As AI becomes increasingly integrated into enterprise applications and workflows, the VX850 V4 helps organizations modernize the infrastructure supporting today’s business-critical applications while creating capacity for what’s next.

Accelerating Modernization from Infrastructure Planning to Production-Ready Operations

Within the Lenovo Infrastructure Deployment Services portfolio, three clearly defined deployment options will be available: Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy, and Premier Deploy Plus. This structure makes it easier for customers to understand and select the deployment approach that fits their project complexity, business criticality, internal IT capabilities, and desired level of assurance after go-live. All three options provide a structured readiness foundation and expert hardware installation. Premier Deploy and Premier Deploy Plus extend that foundation with implementation and operational handoff support for projects that require it, helping customers move from infrastructure delivery toward production-ready operations. Premier Deploy Plus adds extended post-deployment assistance and a one-year infrastructure health assessment to help customers identify issues early and inform next steps (excluding DE Storage Array).

Validated Modernization, Not DIY Integration

Lenovo is also expanding its portfolio of Lenovo Express Solutions as part of the Lenovo Top Choice Express program, pre-validated infrastructure configurations that combine Lenovo technology with leading software platforms to simplify deployment, reduce integration complexity, and accelerate time to value. The expanded portfolio gives customers practical modernization paths across leading virtualization and hybrid cloud platforms while preserving flexibility and choice:

  • Microsoft Hyper-V Ready Solutions and Windows Server — Offers a validated Lenovo infrastructure foundation for customers modernizing virtualized environments.
  • Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Solutions — Enables organizations to run and manage virtual machines alongside containerized applications on a unified platform, bridging traditional and modern workloads.
  • Microsoft Azure Local with Lenovo ThinkAgile MX V4 — Enables customers to run virtualized, AI, and cloud-native workloads across distributed and hybrid customer-controlled environments with consistent Azure management and operations.
  • Lenovo ThinkSystem with Nutanix Compute Cluster — Offers independent compute scaling, greater workload flexibility, and improved operational efficiency, Nutanix Cloud Platform simplifying virtualization management in a changing landscape.
  • SUSE Virtualization on Lenovo ThinkSystem V4 — Supports virtual machine and container workloads on a unified foundation.

These validated solutions combine Lenovo infrastructure with tested configurations from leading technology partners, reducing the integration burden on IT teams and providing a more predictable path from evaluation to deployment.

Resilient Infrastructure for What’s Next

Lenovo ThinkSystem Storage and Lenovo ThinkAgile HCI solutions help organizations modernize virtualized environments while supporting disaggregated infrastructure, integrated data protection and scalable AI workloads. Integrated cyber resilience capabilities help strengthen ransomware recovery, recovery planning and operational continuity, helping keep the data supporting business-critical and AI workloads protected and recoverable.

As infrastructure environments become increasingly distributed and heterogeneous, updated Lenovo XClarity Controller 3 and Lenovo XClarity One provide a standards-based management foundation that gives IT teams greater visibility and control while improving interoperability and simplifying operations across complex hybrid environments.

“Modernization is an in-place initiative; it does not require starting over. Lenovo brings together best-of-breed virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, infrastructure management, deployment services, and strategic technology partners into an open ecosystem that evolves with customers’ AI journey,” said Matt Eastwood, Senior Vice President, IDC’s Enterprise Infrastructure and Datacenter Group. “Together, these capabilities provide a flexible infrastructure foundation for traditional enterprise, cloud-native, and AI-native workloads, and emerging business use cases, allowing organizations to modernize incrementally while maintaining control over how and where workloads and data are deployed.”
