Okika Devices today announces it has won the “Best in Show” award for its SoC Field Programmable Analog Array (FPAA) board and chip. Presented to David Czajkowski, President of Okika Devices, the organization wishes to recognize the devices superior benefits for embedded applications. Built on a 350nm CMOS process, the OTC 2902A chip uses a Manhattan FPAA architecture with arrays of computation blocks and routing made up of connection and switch blocks, yielding a platform that works smoothly with free compiler tools. The configurable analog blocks (CABs), configurable logic blocks (CLBs), and routing components can be programmed to non-binary levels. It includes an integrated 16-bit MSP430 microprocessor for management and user applications.
