Global Healthy Living Foundation Launches New Vaccine Hub to Strengthen National Advocacy and Protect Immunocompromised Americans

The Global Healthy Living Foundation (GHLF) today announced the launch of its new Vaccine Hub (ghlf.org/vaccines), a first-of-its-kind, patient-centered platform designed to help individuals, health professionals and policymakers navigate the rapidly changing vaccine policy landscape across the United States. The Hub consolidates authoritative information, advocacy tools and up-to-date policy analysis to support clearer vaccine decision-making at a time when misinformation and political rhetoric continue to threaten public health.

The Vaccine Hub is built around one core principle: no patient — especially those living with chronic illness or immune-compromising conditions — should lose access to lifesaving vaccines because of confusion, shifting laws or unclear guidance.

Focused Advocacy at the State Level

GHLF’s Vaccine Hub highlights urgent advocacy needs across the country and elevates efforts already underway in Arizona, Florida, Montana, Ohio, Texas and Alabama, six states where variations in vaccine access, pharmacy authority and school requirements significantly shape real-world patient experiences.

“In every corner of the country, we hear the same message — patients feel lost,” said Steven Newmark, Chief Policy Officer at GHLF. “State-level rules are changing constantly, and misinformation spreads faster than accurate guidance. This Hub helps people understand their rights, recognize when policies threaten those rights and learn how to take meaningful action.”

A Central Home for Vaccine Advocacy

The new Vaccine Hub provides clear, accessible explanations of vaccine-related policies, including:

  • Which providers can administer vaccines in each state
  • How legislative proposals may affect access
  • Barriers for immunocompromised adults
  • Guidance on school vaccine requirements
  • Tools to contact legislators and encourage evidence-based policy

The Hub also includes advocacy alerts, breaking down major developments such as proposed rule changes, federal policy shifts and ACIP decisions — including GHLF’s recent work mobilizing patients around the ACIP COVID-19 vote.

“We saw firsthand this fall that advocacy works,” said Seth Ginsberg, GHLF Co-Founder and President. “When patients, caregivers and clinicians speak up, policymakers pay attention. This platform gives our community the information and confidence they need to use their voice.”

Countering Confusion With Trusted Information

In an environment where conflicting messages often overshadow science, the GHLF Vaccine Hub offers:

  • Evidence-based vaccine education
  • Policy explainers written for real people
  • Research on vaccine uptake and inequities
  • Patient stories and first-person experiences
  • Multimedia resources, including episodes of The Health Advocates podcast covering fall vaccine guidance, Senate hearings and ACIP recommendations

The new site also houses GHLF’s growing set of decision-support tools designed to simplify complex policy questions for both patients and providers.

Why This Matters Now

Across the country, differing regulations — from pharmacy authority to school immunization requirements — have created a patchwork system that confuses patients and delays vaccinations. For people with chronic illness, delays can mean unnecessary risk of hospitalization or severe disease.

“We believe adults deserve clear answers,” Mr. Newmark added. “This Hub gives them that clarity and equips them to advocate for themselves and their families.”
