Upcoming ISG Provider Lens® report will evaluate companies that help industrial and commercial enterprises design, deploy and scale robotics and AI solutions
Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining the capabilities of service providers to assist organizations using robotics to improve operations and create more connected, technology-enabled workforces.
The study results will be published in a comprehensive ISG Provider Lens® report, called Intelligent Robotics and Physical AI Services, scheduled to be released in March 2026. The report will cover companies offering managed and as-a-service robotics solutions, consulting and transformation support and system integration and engineering expertise.
Enterprise buyers will be able to use information from the report to evaluate their current vendor relationships, potential new engagements and available offerings, while ISG advisors use the information to recommend providers to the firm’s buy-side clients.
Robotics adoption is expanding rapidly across industries as organizations seek flexible, intelligent systems that work smoothly with existing operations. Companies are moving from standalone automation solutions to integrated, data-driven robotics systems that adapt to changing demands and enable better collaboration. The overlapping of robotics, AI and connected technologies is changing how work is done, improving operations, increasing efficiency and fostering closer interaction between people and machines in both industrial and commercial settings.
“Robotics is expanding from traditional industrial settings into a broader range of business operations,” said Heiko Henkes, managing director, ISG Provider Lens Research. “Organizations are combining human expertise with intelligent systems to make work more responsive, connected and efficient across diverse environments.”
ISG has distributed surveys to more than 160 providers. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce three quadrants representing the robotics and physical AI services typical enterprises are buying, based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. The three quadrants are:
- Robotics Consulting and Transformation Services, evaluating providers that help enterprises define their robotics vision and roadmap before deployment. These providers guide strategy, assess readiness, design operating models and align robotics investments with business goals.
- Robotics Integration and Engineering Services, assessing providers that design, build and deploy robotic systems for industrial and commercial use. These firms integrate a range of robotic platforms into enterprise operations, linking them with core business systems to improve coordination and efficiency.
- Robotics Managed Services and Robotics as a Service, covering providers that manage and optimize robotic systems after deployment. The providers are assessed on their ability to offer subscription-based services, manage and optimize robotic fleets throughout their lifecycle and integrate hardware, software and AI into cohesive solutions.
A report produced from the study will cover the global intelligent robotics and physical AI services market and examine products and services available globally. ISG analyst Yash Jethani will author the report.
A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as intelligent robotics and physical AI service providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.
All 2025 ISG Provider Lens® evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data that measures actual enterprise experience with specific provider services and solutions, based on ISG’s continuous CX research. Enterprise customers wishing to share their experience about a specific provider or vendor are encouraged complete this online survey. Participants will receive a copy of this report in return for their feedback.
