Samsara Assistant

Samsara Assistant is an interactive generative AI tool that empowers operations teams with critical, timely information at their fingertips. Assistant can deliver immediate answers to a wide range of questions that customers encounter daily.

Examples of how customers use Samsara Assistant today include:

  • Identifying vehicles with severe fault codes and receiving step by step instructions to resolve them.
  • Spotting time-sensitive disruptions in daily operations, like unexpected stops, which might signal a driver is at risk or in need of assistance.
  • Determining which drivers have the highest safety scores and should be recognized for their high performance.
  • Understanding hours of service regulatory requirements for a new geography or vehicle type.

According to Samsara’s recent State of Connected Operations Report, more than half of leaders surveyed are already using AI, and 87% said they plan to increase investments over the next year. Performance Food Group, the second-largest food distributor in the United States, has exemplified this trend as an early adopter of Samsara Assistant.
