Certification ensures compatibility with the original WiSA SoundSend and the forthcoming WiSA SoundSend E for seamless connectivity and immersive wireless audio
BEAVERTON, OR / ACCESS Newswire / August 24, 2026 / Datavault AI Inc. ("Datavault AI" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:DVLT), a provider of data monetization, credentialing, digital engagement, and real-world asset ("RWA") tokenization technologies, today announced that Optoma's HCPro-5400 and UHZ58LV true 4K UHD laser projectors, along with 66 additional models that share their platforms, have received WiSA SoundSend Certification from the WiSA Association, a division of Datavault AI's Acoustic Sciences division. Receiving this certification guarantees that these projectors will connect flawlessly to any WiSA SoundSend universal transmitter, including the forthcoming WiSA SoundSend E. Working with both the original SoundSend and the new SoundSend E allows users to easily connect any of these Optoma projectors to WiSA Certified speakers from numerous brands.
Optoma's HCPro-5400 is designed to be the industry's first DLP triple RGB laser projector featuring 5,000 lumens of brightness and 4K UHD visuals with certifications for IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, FILMMAKER MODE and WiSA SoundSend. The HCPro-5400 provides lifelike imagery for movies, TV shows and live sports up to a 300-inch image for a cinematic experience at home, and completes the home theater experience with Dolby Atmos passthrough via eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), providing multidimensional sound from an external soundbar or AVR. The HCPro-5400 received WiSA SoundSend Certification for compatibility with the WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitter, enabling wireless, high-fidelity sound and connection to WiSA Certified speakers (not included).
Optoma's UHZ58LV home theater projector delivers true 4K UHD clarity and, with WiSA SoundSend Certification, wireless, high-fidelity sound and seamless connection to WiSA Certified speakers. Enhanced by an additional red laser light, the UHZ58LV's dual laser projection delivers DCI-P3 color without the need for lamp replacements. Powered by 3,000 lumens of brightness, Optoma PureEngine Ultra and HDR10+, the compact UHZ58LV is designed for home cinema use.
"We are excited to achieve WiSA SoundSend Certification and expand our line-up of solutions that seamlessly integrate with WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitters," said Brian Soto, Director of Product Management, Optoma. "By connecting a WiSA SoundSend to our projectors and WiSA Certified speakers, consumers can easily create exceptional, immersive home entertainment experiences across all types of content including music, movies, TV, sports and gaming."
WiSA SoundSend Certification signifies that a source, like these Optoma projectors, has been tested and proven to connect to and communicate with a WiSA SoundSend universal wireless audio transmitter. This includes the original WiSA SoundSend, which uses WiSA HT technology, and the forthcoming WiSA SoundSend E, which uses WiSA's newest technology, WiSA E. The SoundSend E will also be controlled by the new WiSA Connect mobile application, which is designed to provide control of a SoundSend E-based system, including tuning features such as system equalization, bass management and custom user profiles, and to see, connect to and control all WiSA E systems in a home from a single application.
"Optoma has been a valued member of the WiSA Association for many years and continues to deliver outstanding solutions that impress and amaze," said Tony Ostrom, President of the WiSA Association and VP of Marketing for WiSA Technologies. "The WiSA SoundSend Certification of these two new projectors and the platforms used across a large number of new models shows Optoma's continued emphasis on innovation and on delivering best-in-class audio video products for a wide variety of use cases."
The WiSA SoundSend and SoundSend E are designed to make multichannel home theater accessible to anyone with a modern source with ARC or eARC connectivity. Plugging a SoundSend in via HDMI or an optical connection and allowing it to automatically connect wirelessly to WiSA Certified speakers is designed to create a home theater system without the wiring typically required for multichannel audio, with setup taking minutes and full control available through a mobile app.
