In Xipi Village, Ningde, the mangroves sway in the wind. Former boat-dwelling residents who have settled onshore have built an ecological barrier with their own hands, adding layers of green to the blue coastline and creating a vivid example of ecological protection. In Gushi Village, Fuzhou, young people returning to their hometowns integrate outdoor sports with cliffside cafés to create an interesting tourist destination between mountains and sea, injecting new vitality into the integration of fishing and tourism and demonstrating the youthful energy of rural revitalization. In Aojiao Village, Zhangzhou, fishing boats compete to set sail in the harbor. Fishermen head out to sea at dawn and return with holds full of catch, forging milestones in the high-quality development of the marine industry through hard work and dedication.
From ecological conservation to cultural and tourism innovation, from industrial upgrading to improvements in people’s livelihoods, Fujian continues to deepen its “marine-focused” approach and has delivered a satisfying answer sheet in the construction of beautiful fishing villages. The video is executive-produced by Liu Yongtong, with Yang Guohe and Chen Jiawei as producers. Lin Qiang and Wei Li led the planning, and core creators Gao Jiali, Chen Jianguo, and Chen Hui conducted in-depth field research.
